| To those who may concern, This class lists are only for the semester: 8/28-11/17. We keep the right to organize the new classes in next semesters. If the student is still not arrived in Taiwan, please be reminded to update the visa status to CLCT."
Note 1. All students will take in-person classes. But we keep the right to hold online classes if we need to comply with Cov-19 control policy 2. Students have option to try different levels in 8/28-8/31.After we evaluate the student's test , we will place the students to the adaptive levels. 9/1 is the final solution for class lists. No options for students to try other levels after 8/31. 3. We will invite the students who take placement test in the other email. Please keep in touch via emails. "4. BASIC-1: This course is for those students who have very little to no prior experience with learning Mandarin Chinese. About 70% of class time will be primarily focused on exposing students to and developing basic speaking and listening skills, with the remaining 30% introducing some writing and reading. (Please note that this only a rough approximation on how class structure is divided, and may be subject to change) Students who complete BASIC-1 will then be able to continue on to BASIC-2. BASIC-2: This course is for those students who have either successfully completed BASIC-1, or who have some demonstrable skill in speaking, listening, reading and writing. BASIC-2 is the introductory course — the starting point — of our standard Mandarin Chinese curriculum. Students can expect to develop core foundational skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing. Upon successful completion of the course, students will then be able to progress their learning on to more advanced levels within the curriculum. " 5. The students can get to CLCT in 15-30 minutes early for the first day. 6.
