Learn Madarin, Explore Culture, Make Friends!
Are you an international student eager to improve your Mandarin, experience Taiwanese culture, and connect with new people? The National Kaohsiung Normal University (NKNU)Center of Language and Culture Teaching invites you to join our 2025 Buddy Program! This is your chance to immerse yourself in a vibrant learning environment and make lasting memories.
Who Can Join?
This program is open to:
•International degree students and exchange students at NKNU (undergraduate and graduate levels)
•International students enrolled in the NKNU Language Teaching Center
If you're passionate about learning Mandarin and cultural exchange, we welcome you!
What to Expect?
Regular Exchange
•Frequency: 1 to 2 times per week, totaling 12 hours.
•Flexibility: The Center is open Monday to Friday, 9:00-12:00 and 13:30-16:30. You and your buddy can arrange meeting times that fit your schedule. Practice Mandarin, share cultures, get academic help, or explore the campus together!
Special Events
Beyond regular meetings, we'll host exciting events to help you connect with more buddies:
1.Brief Cultural Exchange Sessions: Experience Taiwanese customs, festivals, or unique activities firsthand.
2.Outdoor Activities: Join your buddies for excursions to historical sites, try local snacks, or participate in community events. Learn and grow in a fun, relaxed setting!
